[ This feels like so many conversations she's had with Damon, with Stefan and Caroline and so many others. Everyone telling her to be careful, to not take those risks, to think before leaping. But all of that was before she became a vampire, and now she really has no reason not to risk everything for the people she loves. ]

[ She isn't touching that first point. No, it's not just her life, that's the point. If Sam died, they'd all lose him, and everyone would have to feel her grief, Seth included. There's a mountain of reasons to take the risks to save him, and all of them stack up higher than anything Seth is throwing at her. ]
